30-day countdown: 400 e-bikes for the inaugural stage of the E-Bike World Tour in Tignes-Val d’Isère

 

 

Organise a mass event in 2021 and find 400 e-bikes to test during the festival weekend – that was the challenge set by the resorts of Tignes-Val d’Isère for the beginning of the E-Bike World Tour. The event takes place from July 30 to August 1, 2021.

For several months, the bicycle industry has been experiencing one of the most significant shortages in its history. Shops, customers, media: the situation is the same for everyone. Between a slowdown in production due to the global health crisis and a boom in demand, testing or buying an e-bike has never been so tricky, sometimes even impossible.

Therefore, we are proud to announce 400 e-bikes available to test at the first E-Bike World Tour in the resorts of Tignes-Val d’Isère from July 30 to August 1.

The biggest brands are all involved: Haibike, Lapierre, Commencal, Specialized, Moustache, Canyon, Beeq, Flyer, Focus, Husqvarna, NCM, Raymon, and more.

There will be various test loops of around 20-40 minutes, comprising three greens, four blues, four reds, and two blacks. In addition to the off-road options, there will be two e-road test routes (one red and one black).

Success? Organising such an event in 2021 could be seen as an achievement in itself!

Beginner or expert, the slopes of the Tarentaise Valley will welcome anyone who is a fan of innovation, personal progression, and e-bike adventures. The rides and activities on offer during these three days of festivities promise fun for all. These include seven discovery routes, two Gourmet Tours, and the Bosch E-MTB Challenge for anyone who fancies going against the clock (plus an elite race for professionals).
